The Human Touch Perfect Chair is designed to fuse back support, seating comfort and architectural design. Its ergonomics were inspired by the neutral body posture chaise position developed by NASA to support astronauts during their ascent into orbit. By gently raising the feet above the heart, it removes pressure from the spine and allows deep relaxation. The chair comes in black, chocolate, green, ivory or mocha leather with the choice of a walnut, dark walnut or maple finish. $1,700 and up at furniturefind.com.

Studio T (studiotfurniture.com, 303-741-6565) stocks high-quality, stylish furnishings for 30 to 50 percent off retail prices by opening only three days of the week. "We're not a large, luxurious retail store with regular business hours," Tamara Brown says, "which is partly how we are able to keep our cost down." Studio T is at 7302 S. Alton Way, Unit 4B, in Centennial. Store hours are Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., or by appointment.

Dear Amy: I moved three hours away from my parents 18 years ago after I got married. We talk on the phone two or three times a month; mostly I'm the one who calls, but I'm not sure why. I usually talk to my mom (Dad's not much of a phone guy), and all she does is complain.

Grilling gives fish great flavor without the need for lots of added cooking fat. But this healthy method for cooking seafood can be stressful if you don't get the technique right.

You can develop leaner, firmer legs and glutes by adding a few workout balls to your program. Medicine balls (weighted from 2 to 30 pounds) strengthen core muscles and provide resistance in a workout. Stability balls (larger, inflated) strengthen your abdominals and stabilize the spine to help improve balance and reduce injuries. Trainer Rod Johnson demonstrates how to define, strengthen and tone your legs using workout balls.

AT 16, ANDREA BRAY was diagnosed with a rare, benign bone tumor that ate away 60 percent of the diameter and about 5 inches in length of her left femur. Successful surgery followed, using donated bone from a bone bank, but her orthopedic oncologist told her she'd have to give up her favorite sport, competitive swimming, forever. Ditto for her biggest winter pleasure, skiing.

It's OK to h coffee. If the daily grind is music to your ears and the steaming cup of joe that follows is your ambrosia, don't let a heart attack keep you from drinking coffee. Italian researchers looked at coffee quaffing among the more than 11,000 heart- attack survivors participating in a clinical trial designed to test the benefits of omega-3 fats and vitamin E. After 18 months of follow-up, the researchers found that repeat heart attacks, strokes, sudden deaths and other cardiovascular events had occurred just as often in the participants who didn't drink coffee as they did among those who drank more than four cups a day. This study, published in December in Circulation, is in line with the American Heart Association's recommendation that a cup or two of coffee is safe for heart-attack survivors even as they recover in the coronary-care unit. If coffee is OK for a newly weakened heart, it's fine for most other hearts, too—in moderation, of course. Harvard Heart Letter

Dizziness probably not the fault of melatonin

Q: At least once a week, I experience a bout of extreme dizziness. It's accompanied by a physical feeling of being turned upside down, and everything looks upside down and blurred to me. It is very sudden and random. My body feels very heavy when this happens, like I'm on the kind of amusement park ride that pushes you backward in your seat. My mother suggested it could be linked to the supplement melatonin. I take 5 mg of sublingual melatonin a night to help me sleep. Have you ever heard of melatonin causing this type of dizziness?
