Seven Disaster Recovery Centers Remain Closed Until Weather Improves

SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico -- Disaster Recovery Centers in Maunabo, Patillas, Yabucoa, Salinas, Humacao, Guayama and Santa Isabel have closed temporarily pending weather conditions, to protect visitors and staff.

ORLANDO, Fla. -- The centers, located in Eustis and Sanford will cease operations at 6 p.m. Saturday. They will be staffed from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily through Saturday, by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and State Emergency Response Team Disaster Teams with other federal, state and voluntary organizations to help those affected by Tropical Storm Fay.
